Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal recently got married. Now in an interview, the couple shared how they met Sonakshi's father Shatrughan Sinha. Talked about their wedding plans.

Talking to a media about this, Zaheer said, 'When I went to Sonakshi's house, I felt very I was nervous because I had never spoken face to face with his father before.

However, when we started talking to each other, we became friends in no time. I told him that I also want to ask Sonakshi about marriage. I found him very honest and calm in that meeting. He is a very sweet person.

Even before the marriage, Shatrughan had come to meet Zaheer and his family.

Talking about this, Sonakshi said, 'When I told Papa about us, I also felt very Had become nervous. I didn't know how he would react. I became very cool and went to talk to him.

I asked him, 'Aren't you worried about my marriage? Because you haven't talked to me about this yet.

He replied that he had discussed this matter with my mother. Then I told him that there is a boy named Zaheer in my life. He said- 'Yes, I had also read about this.'

Sonakshi further said, 'Then father said that you all have grown up, so when brother-in-law agreed, Where will Qazi do? I thought wow this was very easy. I thought Papa is so chilled out and cool. He has been very supportive of our relations.

'You look strong on the outside, but soft on the other side'
Before the marriage of Sonakshi and Zaheer, there was a discussion that neither Shatrughan Sinha knew about this marriage. And neither were they happy with this relationship. But their wedding photos say something different.

Talking about this, Sonakshi said, 'Both father and mother are emotional. Papa looks strong on the surface but he is very soft. He stood close to me the whole time and I know how emotional he was. So I held her hand and said, don't worry, I am not going anywhere.

Sonakshi's mother Poonam Sinha also became emotional many times during the marriage.

I talk to my mother twice a day: Sonakshi
When my mother came to know that I was finally leaving her house, she became emotional. Now I can go to my house whenever I want. Now I talk to my mother more than before. Sometimes twice a day.

Zaheer and Sonakshi had registered during the day on 23rd June.

The couple had organized a reception party in the evening at a restaurant in Mumbai.

After dating each other for 7 years, Sonakshi and Zaheer had a registered marriage on 23 June. In the evening, the couple hosted a reception party at Shilpa Shetty's Restaurant Boston.
