Good news is coming from the Meteorological Department (IMD) amid heavy humidity in Delhi-NCR. The rains that have been falling in different areas for the last two days will continue today. The IMD has issued a rain and thunder warning for the national capital and surrounding areas on Friday.

The humidity has been killing people in Delhi-NCR for the past one week, but rains on Wednesday and Thursday have brought a sigh of relief. Heavy rains lashed many areas of Delhi and NCR on Thursday, which is likely to continue today. The IMD said that the maximum temperature in Delhi today is likely to be 32 degrees while the minimum temperature is likely to be 28 degrees. Also, humidity may also bother people as the humidity is likely to be 72 percent.
Coastal states will receive heavy rainfall
The Meteorological Department said that a new low pressure is forming over the Bay of Bengal and the Kutch part of the Arabian Sea, due to which moderate to heavy rain is likely over Konkan and Goa, Gujarat, Coastal Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Kerala during the next 24 hours. Vidarbha, Marathwada, South Chhattisgarh, South Tezzbuzz and Andaman and Nicobar Islands may experience light to moderate rain with heavy rain at few places.
Chance of heavy rain
Heavy to very heavy rain is likely at isolated places over Uttarakhand, Tezzbuzz, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Gujarat. Heavy rain at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, Haryana-Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh and Karnataka. Scattered rain is likely over Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tezzbuzz, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh.
