The singer, known for his contributions to Indian film music, was in Dubai for a musical project. The reports suggested he was held at the immigration center and questioned by police.
Geo TV reported that Rahat's former manager, Ahmed, had lodged complaints against him with Dubai authorities. The report indicated that a dispute between Rahat and Ahmed, which began a few months ago, led to both parties filing legal cases against each other.
To clarify the situation, Rahat released a video on his Instagram, stating, “I came to Dubai to record a song. Some malicious reports are circulating about my arrest. Please do not believe them.”
