Team India T20 Captain: Last Sunday BCCI announced the Team India squad for the tour of Sri Lanka starting from 27th July. Suryakumar Yadav has been given the captaincy for the T20 series. This is not the first time when Suryakumar will captain the Indian team. Last year, he took over the role of captain in the series against Australia and then South Africa. India won the series against Australia 4-1, while the series against Africa was tied 1-1. Now Surya has revealed his mantra of successful captaincy.

I enjoy spending time with everyone and we have either made a difference in the franchise or we have played a lot with each other in state level cricket, so understanding their strengths and weaknesses will not be difficult.

India will play its first T20 match against Sri Lanka on 27th July. The second match will be played on 28th July and the third and final match of the series will be played on 30th July. Shubman Gill has been made the vice-captain in this series. Although the series against South Africa ended in a draw, Team India has not lost a series under Surya's captaincy so far. This time too he will want to maintain his great rhythm.
