According to Kroll's Celebrity Brand Valuation Report 2023, Kohli's brand value has increased by 29% to reach $227.9 million. This remarkable growth takes Kohli to the top spot in the list of India's most valuable celebrities.
The report highlights interesting patterns in the celebrity endorsement space, reflecting a significant increase in celebrities' engagement with brands. The top 20 celebrities saw a 14.2% increase in the number of brand endorsements they received in a year-on-year comparison, a trend attributed to the growing emphasis on television and digital platforms for advertising purposes. Virat Kohli dominates the endorsement landscape, securing the top spot, capturing a brand value of $227.9 million.
Ranveer Singh remains in second place with a brand value of $203.1 million, which represents little change from his previous position. Shah Rukh Khan has made significant progress, moving up to third place with a brand value of $120.7 million, which represents a significant increase and reflects his enduring appeal and marketability. Akshay Kumar remains in fourth place with a brand value of $111.7 million, reflecting his steady hold within the industry. Alia Bhatt continues to be a prominent celebrity, remaining in fifth place with a brand value of $101.1 million, reflecting her continued influence in the endorsement space.
