Hamirpur, July 20 (HS). The tradition of not accepting any donation or offering is still prevalent in the Tri Shakti temple located in village Ingohta of Hamirpur district of Uttar Pradesh. There are temples of three goddesses at this place and the statue of Swami Rotiram Baba, the great saint of North India, is also installed. The eternal flame has been burning here with pure desi ghee for the last several decades. Guru Purnima will be celebrated on Sunday.
Mumuksh Ashram in Ingohta village of Sumerpur area, about 25 km from Hamirpur district headquarters, is a center of faith for the people of the entire region. Due to the presence of temples of three goddesses in the ashram, it is also called Trishakti Peeth Mandir. Apart from this, many other temples have also been built. This place is famous in the surrounding areas due to the grand statue of Swami Rotiram Maharaj, the great saint of North India, installed in Mumuksh Ashram. Every day a large number of devotees gather here for worship. The special thing is that continuous construction work is going on at this holy place with the help of the people of the village. The saints of the ashram said that this place gives the feeling of the presence of the Guru. Coming here and spending some time gives great peace to the mind. Offering any kind of offering in the temple is prohibited. Offerings from outsiders are also not accepted in temples.
Saint Suresh and Acharya Mithlesh Dwivedi of Mumuksh Ashram Peeth in Ingohta, the place of penance of North Indian Saint Swami Rotiram Baba, told that hundreds of devotees visit this holy place daily. The Akhand Jyoti (eternal flame) has been burning in the temple for the past several decades which is managed by the people of Ingohta village. Bhajans and Kirtans are organized every Sunday in the temple. The flame of the Akhand Jyoti in the temple has never dimmed. Just seeing it brings peace to a troubled mind. Apart from Hamirpur, Banda, Fatehpur, Mahoba, Jalaun, a large number of people from the surrounding areas and Tezzbuzz also come to this place to pay obeisance.
Mumuksh Ashram is known as the place of penance of the famous saint of North India, Brahmalin Swami Rotiram Baba. People of Ingohta and surrounding areas have always respected Swami. A large number of people had taken Gurudakshina from Rotiram Baba. On the occasion of Guru Purnima, thousands of his devotees will come to this holy place and pay their obeisance. On Sunday, from morning till late night, there will be a rush of devotees at Mumuksh Ashram. After worshipping the idol of Swami ji as per the rituals, the devotees will also perform Mangal Anushthan. Acharya Dwivedi said that there is a tradition of celebrating Guru Purnima festival in a very unique way. Devotees will take food and water after worshipping the goddesses in the Trishakti Peeth temples. Kanya Bhojan will be organized throughout the day. Bhajan Kirtan will also be organized here till late night.
