Moradabad police of UP has registered a case against Samajwadi Party MLA Haji Nasir Qureshi along with his son and daughter-in-law and 23 other people. A named case has been registered against all the people in Galshaheed police station on the orders of the court.
According to the information, the SP MLA and his relatives are accused of trying to forcibly occupy the Waqf land. When they were opposed, they were attacked with the intention of killing them.
Galshaheed police station has registered a case against 23 people including SP MLA under sections 307, 452, 506, 504, 323, 149, 148 and 147 of IPC. The case has been registered against all the people after the court's order. This case has been registered against them after the complaint of complainant Raees and his son Amir Faisal.
According to Raees, Samajwadi Party MLA Haji Nasir Qureshi and his relatives have a gang who want to capture our Waqf property. He said that they want to kill us, with this intention they tried to capture the land on the night of May 27 and attacked us.
Not only this, the victim has also made serious allegations against the police. The victim said that, my son reached the police station in an injured state, but our report was not written in the police station and we were chased away from there. He said that after this we appealed to the court. Now a case has been registered in the police station on the orders of the court. He said that we want action to be taken against the SP MLA and his associates.
According to Raees's lawyer Fasiullah Khan, the Samajwadi Party MLA and his associates tried to occupy the Waqf land saying that the All India Alliance government is going to come to power at the centre. According to Raees, during this time they said that now we will tell and by being domineering they tried to occupy the Waqf land of the mosque and madrasa. Raees and his sons opposed this. After this the accused attacked Raees and his sons and injured them.
