Rampur. A major road accident has taken place in Rampur district of Uttar Pradesh. Four passengers died in the accident, while more than 50 people were injured. The injured have been admitted to the hospital. The police reached the spot and took the bodies into custody and started investigation. According to the information, two buses collided violently on the highway in Milak of Rampur district. Four passengers travelling in two buses died in the accident, while more than 50 were injured. The injured have been sent to the hospital. The DM and SP reached the spot and took stock of the situation.
The accident happened at 4:30 am near Bhairav Baba temple on Milak Rampur National Highway. On Monday morning, a roadways and a private bus collided head-on. Three people died on the spot in the accident. 50 passengers were injured. The seriously injured were referred to the district hospital.
The rest of the injured are being treated at the government hospital in Milak. The DM, SP and CO reached the spot and took stock of the situation. The DM said that the private bus was coming from the wrong direction, due to which the accident happened. The private bus was going to Shravasti. The injured are being treated. Nine people have been sent to the district hospital.
