Noida. Taking action in the case of suicide committed by a prisoner arrested by Jewar police station in a murder case on July 18 in Luxor jail of Gautam Buddha Nagar district, the jail superintendent has suspended three constables. A magisterial inquiry is being conducted in this case.
Brijesh Kumar Singh, Superintendent of the District Jail near Luxor village in Greater Noida area, said that Banarasi son of Garibdas, 42 years old, a native of Balrampur district, was arrested by the police in a murder case in the Jewar police station area and was lodged in Luxor Jail. Banarasi committed suicide by hanging himself inside the jail on 18 July. He said that three constables Hori Lal Rana, Prashant Chaudhary, Satyaprakash have been suspended for negligence in this case. He said that their departmental inquiry is also being conducted.
