Looking at the business of Banarasi sarees, we would like the GST rate to be reduced. Right now this saree is becoming very expensive, due to which many people are not able to buy it. The government tax on it should be reduced, which will benefit the small traders of Banarasi sarees and the government will also benefit from it.
Restaurant operator Sunil said that we have a lot of expectations from the Modi government's budget. Small businessmen should be given tax exemption. The prices of goods used in restaurants should be reduced. The prices of pulses and groceries should come down, vegetables should be cheaper, so that people can eat food in less money.
Hotel operator Aman said, the tourists who are coming to Banaras after the construction of Kashi Vishwanath Dham Corridor. Their problem is that they are not able to make direct booking, they have to take the help of middlemen. The government should open such a portal, through which they can come here directly. Apart from this, the government should also reduce GST.
