Seeing the ever-increasing demand for electric vehicles in India, Porsche has launched two new variants of its Macan, their price starts at Rs 1.23 crore. This luxury e-SUV was initially launched here in only one turbo trim, the price of which has now increased. Apart from the entry-level Macan EV, the company has also launched a new 4S variant, which costs Rs 1.39 crore.

Its specialty

The Porsche Macan has a rear mounted electric motor in the entry level segment. With this, the motor in this luxury SUV produces 360 hp and 563 nm of torque, due to which Macan EV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.7 seconds. Its top speed is said to be 220 kmph. While the mid-level Macan 4S EV has two electric motors. In which it produces 516 hp power and 820 nm torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.1 seconds. Its top speed is 240 kmph.
The company has given a new Slate Gray Neo exterior color option. You will also get optional Macan S alloy wheels. An off-road design package is also available for the entire range which increases the approach angle.

Battery and Range

You will get a 100 kwh battery in all its three trims. According to the company, the Macan Turbo EV gives a range of 591 km on a single charge, the Macan 4S EV gives a range of 606 km and the entry level variant gives a range of 641 km on a single charge. This car is an e-SUV based on the PPE platform. In this, the company has provided 820 v charging architecture which creates a DC charging system of 270 kW. With a fast charger, the battery of the Macan EV gets charged from 10 to 80 percent in 21 minutes.
