Israel's Foreign Minister Katz recently accused Turkey of providing arms and money to the resistance group Hamas in the Gaza war. Denying these allegations of Israel, Ankara said that Israel is lying and by making all these statements it wants to divert the world's attention from the war crimes in Gaza. Israeli Minister Katz also said that “Israel security officials have destroyed the terrorist cells which were being run from Hamas' Turkish headquarters.”
In response to Israel's allegations, Turkey's Foreign Ministry said that Israel is making such statements to divert the world's attention from the war crimes committed in Gaza. The ministry further said that Israel's dirty propaganda will not be able to put pressure on our country and our President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Turkey closed down trade
In response to the war crimes committed by the Israeli army against Palestinians in the Gaza war, Turkey had announced that it would ban the export of industrial goods to Israel from April 9, which will continue until the Gaza war ends and aid delivery is made. This ban includes products like steel, aluminum, paint, electrical cables, aviation fuel, oil, fertilizers, etc. On which Israeli Minister Katz has said that Turkey has violated the trade agreement and the country's President did not take into account the interests of Turkish citizens to help Hamas.
