Punjab BJP Vice President Dr. Subhash Sharma today welcomed the decision of the Government of India to lift the ban on the participation of government employees in the activities of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and said that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is a patriotic and cultural organization, whose every volunteer is imbued with patriotism, any person participating in that organization should be welcomed and he would like to congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for lifting such a ban.

Dr. Subhash Sharma said that the way the RSS has served humanity during many disasters in the country is also very important. During earthquakes, disasters, floods, the volunteers of the RSS have been seen working ahead of the local administration many times to save lives and compensate for losses in extremely adverse conditions without caring for themselves. Dr. Subhash Sharma said that the RSS has been continuously engaged in the reconstruction of the nation and service of the society for the last 99 years. He said that the contribution of the RSS for national security, unity-integrity and in taking the society along has always been praiseworthy and commendable.
