The Israeli army is fighting on many fronts; a fierce battle continues with Hamas, Hezbollah and Houthi rebels

Gaza

The Israeli army is currently fighting a war on many fronts. A fierce war is going on with Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon and Houthi rebels in Yemen. The IDF is wreaking havoc everywhere. After a massive air strike in Yemen on Saturday, Israel has once again wreaked havoc in Gaza. 64 people have been killed in the air strikes here in the last 24 hours, while 105 people are said to be seriously injured.

Gaza's Health Ministry says that the Israeli army has intensified its attacks during the last 24 hours. There is chaos everywhere. Many victims are buried alive under the rubble. Dead bodies of people are on the streets. But due to heavy air strikes, civil defense teams are not able to reach them. Israel says that Hamas fighters are attacking by hiding in residential areas under the cover of people.

The IDF has said in a statement that the UNRWA headquarters was searched based on intelligence. From here, the army personnel have recovered a large amount of weapons, ammunition, equipment of Hamas naval commandos, military jackets, rifles and intelligence material. Over 150 terrorists have been killed in the past week and more than 100 terrorist infrastructures have been destroyed.

On the other hand, Israel has launched a major attack in Yemen for the first time. In response to the drone attack on Tel Aviv on Friday, the Israeli army targeted the hideouts of Houthi rebels on Saturday. Israel carried out an airstrike on Hodeida port and power station. After this, a huge fire broke out at Hodeida port. In response, Houthi rebels also fired missiles at Israel, but the IDF shot them down in the air.

Three people were killed in this attack by Israel Defense Forces, while 87 people were injured. After this attack, Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned that whoever harms them will face the same consequences as in Gaza and Lebanon. Netanyahu said, “From the beginning of the war, I had made it clear that anyone who harms us will not be spared at any cost.”

Meanwhile, massive protests are continuing for the release of Israeli hostages held by the Palestinian armed organization Hamas. On Saturday, thousands of people once again took to the streets of Tel Aviv and demanded the Israeli government to reach an agreement with Hamas for the release of the hostages. People fear that if the war in Gaza continues for long, more hostages will be killed there.

Some people involved in this demonstration also accused their own government of genocide of Palestinians. Along with this, the Israeli military action in Gaza has been compared to the Holocaust. People who have been protesting every Saturday in Tel Aviv for a long time have also demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his entire government. They say that the Netanyahu government has failed.

The protesters claim that Prime Minister Netanyahu and his government are completely incapable of freeing the hostages and running the country. In such a situation, Netanyahu should immediately resign and hold general elections in the country. On October 7 last year, Hamas attacked Israel and took more than 250 people hostage, Hamas has released about half of the hostages so far. There are still 116 Israeli hostages.
