Ranchi. Sawan, the special month of worship of Lord Shiva, is starting from 22nd July. It is a special coincidence that the month of Sawan is starting from Monday itself. This time there will be five Mondays in Sawan, due to which this month is becoming more auspicious. Such a wonderful coincidence is happening after years. Due to the loss of one date in the Krishna Paksha of Sawan, this Paksha is of 14 days. Pandit Ramdev Pandey said that due to the occurrence of Pushya Nakshatra on Amavasya Tithi, there is a possibility of moderate and proper rainfall this year. There is a rule of not eating greens in Sawan. There is special importance of offering water to Lord Bholenath every day in Sawan. This Jalabhishek can be done both in the temple and at home. If you are not able to go to the temple every day, then you can do Jalabhishek and fast in the temple on Monday. Along with this, Rudrabhishek, chanting of Mahamrityunjaya Mantra, Havan, recitation of Laghu Rudra, Maha Rudra, Ati Rudra and Shiv Chalisa and chanting of mantras also have special importance in Sawan. In this month, many devotees go to Baidyanath Dham to perform Jalabhishek to Baba Bholenath. At the same time, people go to visit Baba Amarnath and other Shivlingas and to perform Jalabhishek. There is special importance of worshipping Goddess and Hanuman ji on every Tuesday of this month. Sawan Shukla Paksha is starting from August 5. Due to increase in Navami Tithi and loss of Dwadashi Tithi in this Paksha, this Paksha is of full 15 days. Due to Singh Sankranti falling on Saturday in this Paksha, there is a possibility of heavy rain. Raksha Bandhan and Sawan month will end on August 19. Also, there is Purnima of fasting and bathing donation. Purnima will be till 12.28 pm on August 19. Raksha Bandhan will start after 1:25 pm, because Bhadra will be there before that.
Sawan festival is starting from 21st July in Pahadi Mandir
Sawan Mahotsav is starting from 21st July in Pahadi Mandir. It will be inaugurated at 4 pm. This decision was taken in the meeting of Mandir Vikas Samiti. Special arrangements have been made for women, elderly and children in Pahadi Mandir. CCTV cameras will be installed in the entire premises of Pahadi Mandir.
