Bengaluru. The government has taken action against the famous GT Mall in Bengaluru city of Karnataka. On the issue of not allowing farmers to enter the mall, the Siddaramaiah government has ordered the mall to remain closed for seven days.
Actually, a few days ago, a farmer had come to GT Mall with his son to watch a movie. But because the elderly farmer was wearing a dhoti, he was not allowed entry into the mall. The security personnel asked the farmer to go back from there. This kind of inhumane behavior with the country's food provider was shocking.
The video of this incident with the farmer went viral on social media, and people protested against it. This issue was also raised in the Karnataka Assembly session. Karnataka Urban Development Minister Byrathi Suresh assured action against the mall management. On Thursday, in the Karnataka Assembly, he said, “I have instructed the Bangalore Metropolitan Corporation to take action against the mall in this matter. The government has ordered the mall to be closed for seven days.”
