A shocking video has gone viral from Kharar, Punjab. Where a man climbed a water tank and committed suicide by jumping from there. It is being told that the young man was mentally disturbed for the last few days. Earlier also he had tried to commit suicide by cutting the vein of his hand. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot, took the body in custody and sent it for post-mortem and started investigating the matter.

In the viral video, it is seen that the young man is on a water tank and some of his friends are climbing the stairs to save him. But after a while, the young man jumps off the tank. He was immediately taken to the hospital where doctors declared him dead.

The deceased has been identified as 19-year-old Sumit Chikra, a student of CU. He was a resident of Bahadurgarh in Haryana. The deceased was studying at Chandigarh University located in village Gharuan. On the complaint of the victim's family, the police have registered a case and started investigation.

After getting the information, the family members of the deceased reached Kharar Government Hospital from Bahadurgarh, Haryana. The police got the post-mortem done and handed over the body to the family members. The police is also interrogating the friends of the deceased.
