Mumbai – Mumbai-based travel influencer Aanvi Kamdar died after she fell into a gorge while shooting for an Instagram reel. Kamdar, also a chartered accountant, had gone for a trip to the famous Kumbhe waterfalls in Maharashtra's Raigad district on July 16. She was accompanied by a group of seven friends. An official from the Mangaon police station said that while shooting the video, Kamdar slipped and fell into a 300-foot-deep gorge. Her friends alerted the local authorities and they immediately swung into action. According to reports, the rescue team was supported by Coast Guard, Kolad Rescue Team and Maharashtra State Electricity Board personnel.

A police officer told that Anvi had gone to Raigad with her seven friends for a monsoon trip. While making a video on Tuesday, she fell into a 300-foot deep gorge near the famous Kumbhe waterfall in Mangao. Anvi's body was recovered after a 6-hour rescue operation. However, doctors declared her dead when she reached the hospital.
