Shubhman Gill was made the vice-captain of Team India
In fact, BCCI recently announced the Indian team for the 3-match T20 series and the same number of ODI series against Sri Lanka and star batsman Suryakumar Yadav has been made the captain of the T20 team and Gill has been made the vice-captain.
Rohit Sharma will be seen as the captain in the ODI series and Gill has been made the vice-captain for this series as well, but he will be the vice-captain of the team only on the Sri Lanka tour and in the coming time, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah will replace him as the vice-captain.
Jaspreet Bumrah will be the vice-captain of Team India
Let us tell you that although Gill has been given the responsibility of vice-captain of Team India in T20 and ODI, but Bumrah can be made the vice-captain of the team in the Test format. Gill has not performed anything special in Test cricket so far and hence he cannot be made the vice-captain in this format and this responsibility can be given to Bumrah. Jasprit Bumrah has already captained Team India in Test cricket and has led the team against England.
Team India The next test series will be played against Bangladesh
Actually, India has played the next Test series against Bangladesh in September this year and two matches will be played in it. The series will start from September 19 and the first match will be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Therefore, the second match will be played at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur from September 27. Let us tell you that this series will be a part of the World Test Championship.
