So far there is no sign of a ceasefire between the two countries. Due to Israel's continuous attacks on Gaza, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) issued an order on Friday. The ICJ ruled that Israel's continued presence in Palestinian territory is illegal and should end “as soon as possible”.

Now Saudi Arabia has also supported this decision of the ICJ. The Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the Kingdom has supported the opinion of the ICJ. The ministry also said that Saudi is talking about taking steps to reach a proper solution to the Palestine issue.

Saudi's Muslim World League (MWL) has supported this decision of the ICJ and said that this decision is a better step towards reaching a fair solution to the issues of the Palestinian people. MWL Secretary General Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, who is also the President of the Association of Muslim Scholars, said that this decision ensures that Palestinians are given the right to establish their independent state. The court panel gave this decision on Friday due to the long war going on between Israel and Hamas. The court found that “Israel has asked the Palestinians who have been transferred to move to some other place from the West Bank and Jerusalem, while Israel is still present in Gaza and all this is against Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention. However, this decision of the ICJ has come due to the war that has been going on between Israel and Hamas since October 7 last year.
