New Delhi. Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's new film 'Sarfira' has struggled since its launch at the box office. The film has completed seven days of its release, but in terms of business, 'Sarfira' has only disappointed so far. In the opening week of its release, 'Sarfira' has done a business of 18 crores, which is much less than the expectations.

Despite being a film starring a big star like Akshay Kumar, 'Sarfira' is not able to do any wonders at the box office. The film's collection has been falling since the opening weekend, and it seems that in a few days the collection of 'Sarfira' will reach from crores to lakhs.

The film lagged behind on opening day

Looking at the figures of the first week, the performance of 'Sarfira' has been disappointing. Due to the mixed response from the audience and critics, the film did not get the expected number of viewers in the theatres. In the first week, the film earned a total of only 2.5 crores, whereas much more was expected as per the cost of the film.

Akshay's film cried during work days

'Sarfira's earnings increased a little on the opening weekend. According to SaccNilk, the film earned 4.25 crores on Saturday, the second day, and 5.25 crores on the third day. However, it was difficult for 'Sarfira' to survive in the Monday test, as the film earned only 1.45 crores on the fourth day. On the fifth day, the business was 1.95 crores and on the sixth day it was 2.15 crores.

Business slipped in the opening week

Moving towards the Thursday collection of 'Sarfira', the film once again faced trouble at the box office. According to the initial figures, the film earned 1.25 crores on the seventh day. With this, the collection of 'Sarfira' in the opening week of its release has come down to just 18.80 crores.
