New Delhi. Famous Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has been taken into custody from Dubai Airport. According to Geo TV, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is being questioned at the police station for several hours.
Information suggests that Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's former manager and famous showbiz promoter Salman Ahmed has filed a case against him in Dubai.
Sources said that the singer has not been officially arrested yet. Rahat had reached Dubai for his singing shows. In January this year, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) launched an investigation into money laundering and tax evasion against the famous singer after it was revealed that the singer had earned around Rs 8 billion in 12 years for local and international singing shows.
