Ranchi. There is a possibility of Dharna, demonstration, procession, rally around the State Guest House located at Morhabadi in Ranchi. In recent times, these programs are being held at other places instead of the previously scheduled place Zakir Hussain Park. The possibility of disruption of government work, disruption of traffic system, law and order problem and disturbance of public peace cannot be ruled out due to such programs. Regarding this, on Friday, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Sadar Utkarsh Kumar, using the powers conferred under Section 163 of the BNSS, has issued prohibitory orders (except Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University) within a radius of 100 meters from the boundary wall of the State Guest House located at Morhabadi. This prohibitory order will be in force from 9 am to 12 pm on July 19. During the ongoing prohibitory order, organizing any kind of dharna, demonstration, siege, procession, rally or public meeting without prior permission of the competent authority will be prohibited. Also, there will be a ban on carrying any kind of arms and ammunition, such as guns, rifles, revolvers, pistols, bombs, gunpowder, sticks, bows and arrows, axes and spears etc. Apart from this, there will also be a ban on using loudspeakers. This order will not apply to any officer or force deputed by the district administration.
