The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday issued a warning against a propaganda video made by Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) that carried a poster of Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan's film Phantom. The police also warned that sharing or forwarding such content is an offence under sections 13 and 18 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, popularly known as UAPA.

Jammu and Kashmir Police on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle said, “A 5 minute 55 second Jaish video with a picture of actor Saif Ali along with a poster of Bollywood film Phantom has been released by the enemy today 22nd July 2024 at around 2 pm.”
The police have warned people against sharing 'propaganda' videos and asked them to share details of the sender.

The general public is cautioned to do the following:
1.) First of all, they will not forward it to anyone in any way
2.) Second, they will report via message who they received this promotional video from. Mention the date and time and telephone number of receipt of the video.
3.) Police officers will report it to their supervisory officer and civil officers will also report it to their supervisory officer through text message. This video should not be forwarded under any circumstances. It should be remembered that posting and forwarding such content is an offence under Section 13 and 18 of the UAPA.
Earlier this year, during the general elections, morphed videos of Bollywood actors Aamir Khan and Ranveer Singh went viral on the Internet, in which they were seen supporting a political party.
