Mumbai. Manorama Khedkar, mother of controversial trainee IAS Pooja Khedkar, was today sent to judicial custody for 14 days by the Pune Sessions Court in the farmer threat case. After this, Manorama Khedkar applied for bail but the court rejected it. After this, the police team sent Manorama Khedkar to Yerwada Jail in Pune.
A case has been registered against Manorama Khedkar, her husband Dilip Khedkar and seven others at Paud police station for threatening farmers in Mulsi, Ahmednagar. In the same case, the police arrested Manorama Khedkar from Parvati Hotel in Mahad of Raigad district and produced her in the court.
Pune Session Court had given Manorama Khedkar three days police custody for the first time and three days police custody for the second time. Today police produced Manorama Khedkar in the court and demanded three days police custody but the court sent her to judicial custody for 14 days.

After this, Manorama Khedkar's lawyers applied for bail and demanded to get her bail as soon as possible but the court rejected her bail application. After this, the police sent Manorama Khedkar to Yerawada jail. In this case, Manorama Khedkar's husband Dilip Khedekar has got anticipatory bail.
