UK / Europe: The popular face of Kerala politics and former Chief Minister Shri. Paying homage to the memory of Oommen Chandy, memorial services will be organized today under the auspices of the German, UK, Austria, Switzerland and Poland units of the Indian Overseas Congress (IOC).

The commemoration will begin at 6pm Europe Time, 5pm UK-Ireland Time and 9.30pm India Time through the online platform Zoom with the participation of eminent personalities from the social, political and media fields.

Kerala's opposition leader VD Satheesan will inaugurate the commemoration conference titled “Oommen Chandy in Memories”.

AICC Member and Ankamali MLA Roji M John, Chalakudy MLA Saneesh Kumar Joseph, AICC National Spokesperson Shama Muhammad, KPCC Digital Media Convener P Sarin, Youth Congress State Vice President Abin Varki, Oommen Chandy's daughter Achu Oommen, Delhi Bureau Editor Deepika (National Affairs) George Cullivyal, IOC Global Coordinator Anura Matthai, IOC Europe Vice-Chairman Sirosh George, IOC Organization Presidents of various countries and other IOC leaders will participate in the event.

Sunny Joseph, program coordinator and president of IOC Germany-Kerala Chapter, said that Oommen Chandy, who loved and was loved by the people regardless of party, politics and caste, requested everyone's cooperation for the memorial ceremony and welcomed everyone who loved Oommen Chandy to the ceremony.
