The weather department has predicted rain and thunderstorms in Delhi from 23 to 25 July. Meanwhile, a thunderstorm alert has been issued in 19 districts of UP with heavy rains. Most of the districts of UP will receive heavy to very heavy rains for the next 4 days. On the 23rd, the weather may remain pleasant in Lucknow, Bareilly, Pilibhit and the surrounding areas.
On 24th July, moderate to heavy rainfall is expected in Bahraich, Lakhimpur, Kheri, Sitapur, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Etah, Agra, Firozabad, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Shahjahanpur, Sambhal, Bundu, Jhansi, Lalitpur and surrounding areas. The sky will remain cloudy on 25th and 26th July as well. There will be heavy rain accompanied by thunder in many districts.

People in Bihar were troubled by the humid heat for many days. The rain on 22nd July brought great relief to the people. However, there is a danger of flood in 15 districts of the state. The Meteorological Center has issued an alert of light rain in 26 districts of Bihar. So far, 25 percent of Bihar has received less rain and 45 percent less rain in Patna. Monsoon is likely to become active in the next 2 to 3 days.

Rain is expected in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, Kerala from 23 to 26 July. Very heavy rain is likely in many parts of Karnataka on 25 and 26 July, in many districts of Jharkhand during 23 to 25 July and in Chhattisgarh on 23 to 24 July. According to IMD, a yellow alert for rain has been issued in all the districts of Rajasthan. Rain is expected in Rajasthan during 23 to 26 July, in Punjab and Haryana during 23 and 24 July, in Chandigarh, eastern Uttar Pradesh from 23 to 26 July. The Meteorological Center Jaipur has issued an alert of light to moderate rain in all the districts of the state from 23 to 25 July.
