Ayodhya. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust has started a new facility for devotees residing in Ayodhya. The trust has decided to issue passes to saints and local people for daily darshan at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. For the pass, local residents will have to register with Aadhar card. After this, the pass will be issued for six months.
Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust's General Secretary Champat Rai told Hindustan News on Thursday that the saints and mahatmas of Ayodhya or local people who wish to have regular darshan of Ramlala can come to the Trust's camp office or the pilgrim service center located in front of Birla Dharamshala and get the permission letter for daily darshan. For this, you will have to bring your Aadhar card with you and can get the permission letter by filling the form. The office will be open from 10 am to 6 pm.
Champat Rai said that all the security related prohibitions will have to be followed. For example, you will not be able to take mobile phones with you. You will not be able to enter with worship material, prasad, sweets, lamps, incense sticks, agarbatti etc. Only those saints or devotees who have permission letters will be able to go for daily darshan alone. Entry will be from D-1 only. Once made, the permission letter will be valid for 6 months. It can be renewed after six months. If it is found that the permission letter was taken in the name of daily darshan and you come only once or twice in a month, then the pass can be cancelled. You will have to show your entry card at the police checking booth at the time of daily darshan.
It is noteworthy that after the Pran Pratishtha of Ramlala in the newly built temple, due to the increased crowd and administrative arrangements, the local people were facing problems regarding regular darshan. Regarding this, the local saints and mahants had lodged a complaint with the Tirtha Kshetra Trust. Now the trust is issuing passes for regular darshan keeping in mind the convenience of the local people of Ramnagari.
