Nissan India has officially unveiled the X-Trail ahead of its launch in the coming weeks. The Nissan X-Trail is Nissan’s first new product in the last few years, marking its return to India after a decade-long hiatus in its fourth generation.
Here’s everything you need to know about it.
Nissan X-Trail Exterior
The Nissan X-Trail features a chunky V-motion grille with a split-headlamp setup at the front, 20-inch alloy wheels proportionate to its size, and LED taillights at the rear. The X-Trail measures 4680 mm in length, 1840 mm in width, 1725 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2705 mm. The ground clearance is 210 mm.
Nissan X-Trail Interior
Inside the Nissan X-Trail, it features an all-black interior theme, with a floating 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features include dual-zone AC, panoramic sunroof, paddle shift and sliding and reclining 2nd-row seats. Safety features include 7 airbags, limited slip differential and front and rear parking sensors with 360-degree camera.
Nissan X-Trail Engine and Gearbox
The India-spec model does not feature a strong hybrid system like its global counterpart. Instead, it is equipped with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine with 12V mild hybrid technology, which produces 163 hp and 300 Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a CVT, which achieves 0-100 kmph in 9.6 seconds, with a claimed fuel economy of 13.7 kmpl.
New X-Trail launch date and price announced
While the car has been unveiled, Nissan will reveal the prices of the 2024 X-Trail in India on August 1. This will also be the first launch of the month, followed by other models like the Tata Curve, Lamborghini Urus SE and Mercedes-Benz CLE and GLC Coupe.
Nissan X-Trail booking start date
Nissan India will officially start bookings for the new X-Trail on July 26. The special thing is that this SUV will be available in a single variant in three color options.
