New Delhi. There is a continuous uproar regarding the NEET exam. The question is about the future of the promising students of the country, which is hanging in the balance at this time. After all, who is responsible, its investigation is going on. The Supreme Court is also looking strict in the matter, after whose order NTA has released the results according to the city and center, in which many surprising results are coming out. The reason is, only 70 percent of the students of Rajkot center have qualified. Out of these, 12 students have got more than 700 marks. Similar figures have come from some other centers as well. After this, the question also started echoing whether this is a coincidence or something wrong?
The Supreme Court had ordered the release of state, city and center wise data of all the students who appeared for the NEET UG exam this year. After this, NTA has made the data of all 24 lakh students available on its official website on Saturday. Analysis of the data shows that the highest number of candidates eligible for seats in prestigious medical colleges in India is only from Rajkot in Gujarat and Sikar in Rajasthan. More than 70 percent of the total students who appeared for the medical exam in Rajkot have qualified the exam.
The data analysed from Rajkot Centre No. 22701 (R.K. University, Rajkot, Gujarat) shows that more than 12 students from this centre scored 700 marks, 115 students scored 650 marks, 259 students scored 600 marks, 403 students scored more than 550m marks, while 598 students scored more than 500 marks. The total number of students in this centre is 1968, out of which 1387 students scored qualifying marks. This means that more than 70% of the students from this one centre scored qualifying marks for seats in medical colleges in India. These figures are higher than all the centres across India, making Rajkot the centre with the highest number of students scoring more than 700 marks. Moreover, this centre also has the highest number of students securing qualifying marks for 1.8 lakh medical seats across the country.
Gujarat data also shows that Delhi Public School Centre in Ahmedabad also had 12 students scoring above 700 marks. Overall, state-wise Gujarat has 122 students who have scored above 700 marks, of which 19 are from Rajkot alone, which is at least 15% of the students from Rajkot qualifying for seats in medical colleges.
Most number of students qualify from Sikar in Rajasthan
At the same time, questions are also being raised on the number of students qualifying from Sikar, Rajasthan. The reason is that the analyzed data of Vidya Bharti School located in Sikar, Rajasthan shows that 8 students scored more than 700 marks. At the same time, 69 students scored 650 and above marks, 155 students scored more than 600 marks, while 241 students scored 550 marks. The total number of students who took the exam was 1001.
