Saharsa, July 19 (HS). The 10-day annual training camp organized by 17 Bihar Battalion NCC Saharsa started at Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University North Campus Madhepura. During the social service and community development programme, an awareness rally was taken out for the prevention of malaria and filariasis under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. During the 10-day annual camp being run under the aegis of 17 Bihar Battalion NCC Saharsa in the academic campus of BN Mandal University, an awareness rally was taken out by the NCC cadets on Thursday under the social service and community development programme for the prevention of malaria and filariasis under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
This program was conducted under the direction of Camp Command Officer Lt. Col. P K Chaudhary. Regarding this campaign, Camp Command Officer P K Chaudhary said that cleanliness is an important campaign which is beneficial for oneself, society and the environment. By adopting cleanliness, we can protect ourselves from diseases like malaria and filariasis and stay healthy.
Lord Buddha Medical College and Hospital's HOD Dr R K Pappu and Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University's Deputy Registrar Dr Shankar Mishra gave motivational lectures to the cadets in the camp. HOD Dr R K Pappu explained in detail about first aid in case of heart attack. Deputy Registrar Dr Shankar Mishra said that NCC's duty is to organize, train and motivate the youth to provide leadership in all areas of the country and to always be available to serve the nation.
NCC instills a sense of duty and dedication towards the country in the youth. Deputy Camp Commander Captain Gautam Kumar, Lt Guddu Kumar, Lt Dr Subhashish Das, Army Medal Subedar Major Mo Raqib, BHM Mohan Lal Lamba, Subedar Gurbej Singh, Subedar Stanzin Mosallam, Havildar Shailesh Singh and UDC Kaushalendra Kumar were present on the occasion.
