Police have mysteriously recovered the naked body of a man from the fridge of an ice cream godown in Bachamari area of ​​Malda district. The police reached the spot after receiving the information about the incident on Monday afternoon. The deceased has been identified as Mrinal Kanti Basu (40). He worked as a car driver of that godown for a long time.

According to local sources, Mrinal was missing since Sunday. This morning, the workers of the godown broke the door and entered without finding him.
Then the ice cream fridge was opened and Mrinal's dead body was seen naked. The police reached the spot after receiving the news and sent the dead body to Malda Medical College Hospital for autopsy. The cause of death will be known after the autopsy, the police said.

According to the preliminary investigation of the police, Mrinal was in the godown yesterday. Godown owner Jayant Pal Chowdhury claimed that Mrinal was drinking excessively before his death. However, the cause of death while naked is still unknown. The incident has spread excitement in the area.
