MP News: A meeting of the Council of Ministers was held in the Ministry under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. The Council of Ministers approved the “Tezzbuzz Cloud Policy-2024” to provide cloud services to the departments in a convenient manner. With this decision, cloud services will be provided to the departments in a centralized manner through the Tezzbuzz State Electronics Development Corporation (MPSEDC) and budget will be provided to the Department of Science and Technology for payment of cloud services. Providing cloud services to the departments from MPSEDC will save the expenditure incurred by the departments in purchasing services directly, setting up data centers and obtaining cloud services themselves. By making this arrangement through a centralized institution (MPSEDC) in the entire state, there will be savings in the total expenditure due to economy of scale and there will be better management of cloud services.
Cloud Monitoring Unit (CMU) will be set up in M.P. State Electronics Development Corporation (MPSEDC) of Science and Technology Department for smooth functioning of the processes of Cloud Adoption Framework. Human resource services will be obtained to prepare Cloud Monitoring Unit (CMU) for smooth implementation of Cloud Adoption Framework. 1 post of Cloud Manager and 2 posts of Cloud Technical Expert will be created in CMU under MPSEDC. MPSEDC under Science and Technology Department has been authorized to provide human resource services or other terms and conditions and contract etc. for CMU of Cloud Adoption Framework.
Approval of Smart-PDS implementation
The cabinet approved the implementation of Smart-PDS (Scheme for Modernization & Reforms through Technology in Public Distribution System) in the state. Under this, Rs 8.35 crore will be spent in 3 years under the Targeted Public Distribution System. This will solve the problems related to implementation, expansion and maintenance of software application, differences in database, data recovery and cyber security. The Central Government has provided the facility to eligible families to get ration from any fair price shop in the country through One Nation-One Ration Card.
Extension of one year in special recruitment drive to fill backlog posts
The cabinet extended the time limit of the special recruitment drive for filling up the backlog/carryforward posts of SC, ST, OBC and disabled persons by one year from 01 July 2024 to 30 June 2025. Out of 17 thousand backlog posts, 7 thousand posts have been filled. There are still 10 thousand posts left which will be filled.
Consent proposal approved for conservation and management of Sirpur Wetland, Ramsar site located in Indore
The Council of Ministers has decided to send a proposal to the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change with the consent of the State Government to bear 40 percent of the cost of Rs. 61 crore 95 lakh 70 thousand for the conservation and management of Sirpur Wetland, Ramsar site located in Indore under the Amrit Dharohar Yojana under the National Water Resources Conservation Program (NPCA).
Ratification of increase in the rate of dearness allowance and dearness relief payable to government servants and pensioners
The Council of Ministers approved the order of increasing the rate of dearness allowance/relief payable to government servants and pensioners in the seventh pay scale by 4 percent to 46 percent from July 01, 2023 (payment month August, 2023) and increasing dearness allowance on a proportionate basis in the fourth and fifth pay scales of government servants working in the sixth pay scale of the State Government and those working on deputation in the State Government in the State Government's undertakings/corporations/boards and grant-in-aid institutions and the order of the Chief Minister to increase the dearness relief payable to the pensioners of the State.
Approval for extension of due date of short term crop loan
The Council of Ministers has approved the extension of the due date of short-term crop loan distributed in the Kharif 2023 season of the year 2023-24. According to the decision, the due date fixed for the Kharif 2023 season was extended from March 28, 2024 to April 30, 2024. Also, for those farmers who sold various crops at the support price till April 30, 2024 and did not receive payment for the sale amount of their produce and for the remaining farmers who sold the crops till the last date of procurement, the due date of the Kharif 2023 season was approved to be extended from April 30, 2024 to May 31, 2024.
“M.P. Private Security Agency Rule 2024 draft approved
The Council of Ministers has decided to notify the draft of “Tezzbuzz Private Security Agency (Private Security for Cash Transport Activities) Rules, 2024” prepared in continuation of “Private Security Agency (Private Security for Cash Transport Activities) Rules, 2018” notified by the Government of India. Private security agencies will be able to provide security for cash handling and transportation.
Decision to notify “Tezzbuzz Private Security Agency (Regulation) Rules, 2024”
The Council of Ministers has decided to notify the “Tezzbuzz Private Security Agency (Regulation) Rules, 2024” in line with the model rules notified by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, superseding the Tezzbuzz Private Security Agency (Regulation) Rules, 2012. This decision has been taken with the aim of addressing the issues faced by the private security industry and harmonizing the key visions of ease of doing business, Digital India and e-governance.
