Motorola is currently gearing up to unveil a new smartphone in their Edge series called the Motorola Edge 50 Neo. This model is expected to be launched soon. However, before the official announcement, the design and specifications of the Motorola Edge 50 Neo phone have been revealed in a new report. And now its hardware and color options have come forward.

Motorola Edge 50 Neo specifications and design

Quoting well-known tipster Pers Gouglani, the 91Mobiles report claims that the Motorola Edge 50 Neo phone will feature a 6.4-inch OLED display, which will offer a 120Hz refresh rate. Its screen is likely to have FullHD+ resolution as well. The smartphone will run on MediaTek Dimension 7300 processor.

For photography, the Motorola Edge 50 Neo phone will have a 50-megapixel primary camera on the back, which can be paired with 13-megapixel and 10-megapixel sensors. And the front of the phone will have a 32-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls. For power backup, the Motorola Edge 50 Neo will come with a 4,310 mAh capacity battery, which will offer fast charging support. This model will run on Android 14 operating system and will have 256GB of in-built storage.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo phone is expected to have an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Motorola's upcoming smartphone is rumored to be 8.1mm slim and weigh 171 grams. The report also shared images of the Motorola Edge 50 Neo phone, which showcased a familiar design. The phone will be available in Poinciana color option.

In terms of design, the device may have a vegan leather finish on the back, but that is still unclear. The image shows a Pantone label on the back of the Motorola Edge 50 Neo phone. Motorola launched the Motorola Edge 40 Neo smartphone in September last year, so expect its successor to be launched around the same time. Nothing is known about the pricing and availability of the Motorola Edge 50 Neo model yet, but expect more information about the handset to surface soon.
