Akasa Airlines has announced that some of its online services will be temporarily unavailable at Mumbai and Delhi airports. SpiceJet also said in a statement that it is currently facing technical problems in providing flight updates.
IndiGo Airlines also said its systems were being affected by the Microsoft glitch. “Bookings, check-in, access to boarding passes and some flights may be impacted during this time,” it said in a statement. Globally, US-based Frontier Airlines, a unit of Frontier Group Holdings Inc, halted flights for over two hours, citing a problem with Microsoft services. The disruption also affected reservations and bookings of another discount airline, Allegiant Air, which operates about 130 planes, and said it was working to resolve the issues.
