A massive fire broke out in the Indian Navy's warship INS Brahmaputra. This warship was in the naval dockyard in Mumbai. Due to the fire, the INS Brahmaputra warship tilted to one side. Despite all efforts, the ship could not be straightened. This accident happened during maintenance in the naval dockyard. One sailor is reported missing in the accident, whose search is going on. At the same time, the Indian Navy has ordered an inquiry into the incident.
According to the information received, due to the fire, INS Brahmaputra tilted a lot on one side. Many efforts have been made to straighten it, but the warship could not be straightened. The ship is tilting further along with its berth and is currently resting on one side. If the warship tilts a little more on one side, there is a danger of it capsizing in the water. All the sailors on the ship are safe, except for a junior sailor, whose search is on.
There was a stir due to the fire in INS Brahmaputra. All the Navy personnel got busy in extinguishing the fire in it. It is said that the fire broke out in INS Brahmaputra on the evening of 21st July when it was being repaired. However, the fire has been controlled. With the help of firefighters from the Naval Dockyard and other ships present in the port, the crew of the ship extinguished the fire after a lot of hard work.
By 22 July, i.e. Monday morning, the fire was brought under control. However, the INS still has a problem of tilting to one side, which the Navy personnel are trying to straighten. At the same time, a vigorous search is being conducted for the missing junior sailor. There are hopes of finding him safe and sound.
Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi has apprised Defense Minister Rajnath Singh about the fire incident on the Indian Navy ship INS Brahmaputra and the damage caused by this incident. The Defense Minister prayed for the safety of the missing sailor. Also, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has directed the Navy Chief to take appropriate action.
