The much-anticipated Hindi film The UP Files, starring Manoj Joshi and Manjari Fadnis, is set to hit theaters on July 26. The film is produced by Shree Ostwal Films, and has generated significant buzz since the release of its trailer, promising a compelling narrative inspired by true events.
Directed by Neeraj Sahai and produced by Kuldeep Umraosingh Ostwal, ‘The UP Files’ is a film that delves into real-life incidents, with a story and dialogues that deeply resonate with the audience.
Neeraj Sahai said, “In recent years, we have witnessed a brighter Uttar Pradesh. When I discussed this topic with my producer Umrao Singh Ostwal, he immediately approved the story, and we commenced the shooting for the film. Now, the entire team is excited as the film is set to hit theaters on July 26, 2024.”
Manoj Joshi for the first time in his long career has had the opportunity to play a lead role, and he has prepared for his character according to the writer-director’s vision. He mentioned, “Cinema is a mirror of society, and the writer is naturally inspired by the personality who eradicated the goonda raj and transformed UP into a state of enterprise. I felt this while shooting in Lucknow, Varanasi, Prayagraj, and Ayodhya.”
The film features a talented cast including Manoj Joshi, Manjari Fadnis, Avtar Gill, Ali Asgar, Shahbaz Khan, Milind Gunaji, Aman Verma, Ashok Samarth, Anil George, and others. The music for the film is composed by Dilip Sen, with choreography by Ganesh Acharya. The film, shot in Uttar Pradesh, Jammu, Mumbai, and Rajasthan, has Gautam Rai as production head and Bhavesh Jain as production controller. Vishnu Nishad serves as the art director and production designer. UFO Movies will release the film across India.
