Skoda Auto India has recently updated the prices of Kushqa and Slavia under its India 2.0 program. With an aim to increase localization, the Czech carmaker is preparing to introduce several new models in the Indian market through new investments and production expansion plans. Let's know about 3 new Skoda cars to be launched in India.
Skoda Anyak iV
Skoda's first electric car in the Indian market will go on sale in the second half of 2024. Initially, this EV will be sold in India through the CBU route and will compete with cars like the Hyundai IONIQ 5, Kia EV6 and Volvo XC40 Recharge in the country.
New Skoda Octavia
The latest generation Skoda Octavia will get a mid-life facelift update for the international markets in February this year. The exact timeline for the launch of the new Octavia in India has not been confirmed, however, it is expected to launch in late 2024 or early next year and the Czech carmaker may bring the sporty Octavia RS-iV to the country.
New generation Skoda Kodiaq
The next-generation model of the Skoda Kodiaq made its international debut in October last year. Based on the new MQB-EVO platform, the SUV has grown in size, making it 61mm longer.
The second-generation Kodiaq is expected to be launched in India by the end of 2024 and the car will be sold here via the CBU route. It is priced at Rs. 40 lakh (ex-showroom) and the India-spec model will get the familiar 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine under the hood.
