The main theme of the conclave was to highlight the importance of LNG (Liquid Natural Gas) in India's energy landscape and the leading role played by MGL and MLPL ( Mahanagar LNG Private Limited) in this sector.
Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL), one of the largest City Gas Distribution (CGD) companies in India, organized the Maha LNG Conclave at the Central Business District of Bandra Kurla Complex. The main theme of the conclave was to highlight the importance of LNG (Liquid Natural Gas) in India's energy landscape and the leading role played by MGL and MLPL ( Mahanagar LNG Private Limited) in this sector. The Conclave was inaugurated by Ashu Singhal, Managing Director, Mahanagar Gas Limited and Deputy Managing Director, Shri. Sanjay Shende, Director at MLPL Shri. TL Surrender and Mr. Subbarao Vaddadi's introductory speeches and Shri. An in-depth presentation was made by Manas Das, Vice President (Business Development), MGL Limited.
Presentation on options available to transporters
Leading manufacturer Ashok Leyland, along with Zonal Head Mr. Vaibhav Ambetkar and Mr. Sharath of Volvo Trucks USA, as well as Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) Deputy General Manager, Mr. A presentation by Sandeep Rairikar helped transporters and other stakeholders understand the options available to them, especially for long distance transport.
Discussion on future outlook for LNG, sustainability and carbon reduction

The highlight was the panel discussion featuring Rairikar. Mr. Moderated by Vikas Khanna, CFO, MLPL, the panel discussed key topics related to LNG including regulatory framework, future outlook for LNG, sustainability and carbon reduction strategies, challenges faced by the industry and precautions required, and other alternative fuels.
