Tezzbuzz has secured the first position by distributing more than 11 lakh 95 thousand loans across the country under the PM Street Vendor Scheme. Out of these, 8 lakh 38 thousand street vendors are transacting digitally. These street vendors have received cash amount of about 21 crore rupees from the bank.
Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Mr Manohar Lal Khattar and Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs Mr Tokhan Sahu will present the Systematic Progressive Analytical Realtime Ranking Award (SPARK) to Principal Secretary Mr Neeraj Mandloi in New Delhi on July 18. The award ceremony is being organized at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. An ambitious self-employment scheme is being run in the state since July 2020 for the economic empowerment of toll vendors.
From the year 2021, amount was distributed in 1 lakh 99 thousand loan cases under PM Street Vendor Scheme. In the year 2022, amount was distributed in 1 lakh 70 thousand loan cases. In the year 2023, amount was distributed in 4 lakh 84 thousand loan cases. State Mission Director PM Swa-Nidhi and NULN Shri Kailash Wankhede informed that this year in Tezzbuzz, maximum number of cases have been approved and amount has been distributed. Under PM Swa Nidhi Yojana, loans of Rs 10, 20 and 50 thousand have been sanctioned to street vendors in phases.
In the award ceremony, urban bodies Ujjain, Khargone and Sarani will be awarded under PM Swa-Nidhi and urban bodies Jabalpur, Sidhi, Mandsaur and Itarsi will be awarded under Day-NULM scheme. In the program, 2 urban street vendors and 2 support groups benefited from PM Swa-Nidhi scheme will also be honored.
