Lucknow. The MP-MLA court of Lucknow on Friday declared Rashtriya Shoshit Samaj Party president Swami Prasad Maurya and his daughter former MP Sanghmitra Maurya as absconding.
According to the information, the court of ACJM III MP-MLA Alok Verma issued summons thrice to three accused including father-daughter in the controversial case related to Golf City resident Deepak Kumar Swarnkar and former MP Sanghamitra Maurya. Twice bailable warrant and once non-bailable warrant was issued. Even after this, when the accused did not appear in the court, the court took a strict stand and declared all the accused absconding.
Although the father-daughter duo had approached the High Court against the MP-MLA court, the court reprimanded them and sent them back to the MP-MLA court. After this, Swami Prasad Maurya went to the Supreme Court against the order of the High Court. Maurya did not get relief from the Supreme Court either.
Deepak's advocates Rohit Kumar Tripathi and Rajesh Kumar Tiwari said that they have full faith that they will get justice very soon. They have expressed their gratitude to the court for this.
