Manama: An Indian worker died in a landslide at work in Bahrain. The deceased is said to be a native of Telangana. The accident happened in Janabiya. The landslide occurred at the construction site of the sewage network.
Local media reported that the accident took place on Thursday morning near the Sheikh Isa Bin Salman Highway towards the King Fahd Causeway.
Three workers were injured. A search is on for one of them. Another person was rescued and taken to hospital. Immediately after the accident, rescue workers and civil defense reached the spot and started rescue operations.
