Ingredients required to make Kheer
- Rice – 150 grams
- Milk – 1 1/2 liters
- Sugar – 150 grams
- Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
- Cashews – 10-12
- Almonds – 10-12
- Pistachios – 10-12
Recipe for making Kheer
- To make this, first take the rice, clean it and soak it in water for about 1 hour.
- Then take cashews, almonds and pistachios and cut all three into small pieces. After the stipulated time, remove the rice from the water and wash it once again with clean water.
- After this, grind the soaked rice coarsely with the help of a mixer. If you want, you can use it without grinding it.
- Now take a big vessel, add milk in it and place it on the gas on medium flame.
- Then when the milk starts boiling, add rice in it and slow down the gas flame.
- During this time keep stirring the milk and rice with the help of a ladle so that the kheer does not stick to the bottom of the vessel.
- And then let the kheer cook on low flame for about 15 minutes.
- After this, add sugar to it and mix it well with a ladle and cook the kheer for another 5 minutes.
- When you add chopped dry fruits to the kheer and mix it, cook the kheer till it thickens and then turn off the gas.
- In this way, tasty rice pudding is ready. Serve it hot.
