An audio clip of a Pakistani and an Indian father is going viral. In the audio, the Pakistani man is posing as a Mumbai police officer and asking the father for Rs 40,000 to release his son, but the father offers him Rs 4 lakh. The audio of this conversation between the two has been released online by Mumbai Police.
The Pakistani man demanding money in the audio is a scammer. He calls an Indian by posing as a policeman and asks for a bribe of 40 thousand rupees to release his son. The Pakistani told the policeman that his son and his friends have raped a girl and now give 40 thousand rupees to release her.
In the WhatsApp call, the Pakistani says- Hello, Naresh are you speaking? Sir, I am calling from Mumbai Police Line. Who is this Ayush? The Indian man told that Ayush is his son, then the Pakistani scammer asks him, 'Where is your son right now? You don't know what your son has done. Your son and his three friends have raped a girl. Now the girl is in the hospital and is about to die. Your son has been arrested. No FIR has been filed against your son yet. Tell me what should we do, should we file an FIR and give it to the media?'
On this, the man asked to talk to his son, then the Pakistani made him talk to someone who was crying on the call. Then he says that if you want that an FIR is not lodged against your son, then you do some service. He says, 'I am giving you the Google Pay number of a constable, send our expenses on that and I will leave your son. We have not taken him to the police station yet, he is at the outpost right now.' After this, when repeatedly asked about his police station, he starts dodging the topic.
Then the Pakistani said that he is sending a number on PhonePe and send 40 thousand rupees on it. We are four officers, send 10 thousand for each. On this the father said to him, 'Just 40 thousand. Hey friend 40 thousand for 12 lakhs, at least take 4 lakhs.' On this the scammer disconnected the call. The number from which the call came had +92 in front of it, which is used in Pakistan. On the Whatsapp call the scammer had put the photo of Tamil Nadu's senior IPS officer Sailendra Babu.
