Jammu Kashmir Terror Attack: Terrorist attacks have increased in Jammu and Kashmir for some time now. Terrorists are especially targeting the Jammu region. On July 15 itself, 5 soldiers including an army captain were martyred in an encounter with terrorists in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir. In such a situation, questions are also being raised on the intelligence system of the country. Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a high-level meeting with the IB and its Multi Agency Center i.e. MAC on Friday. Heads of all the security and law enforcement agencies of the country participated in it.
Amit Shah made a master plan
According to Home Ministry sources, the aim of the meeting is to completely eliminate terrorist (Jammu Kashmir Terror Attack) networks and their supporting eco-system. Also, emphasis was laid on greater synergy among all agencies. Chairing a high-level meeting in New Delhi to review the functioning of the Multi Agency Center of IB, responsible for dealing with the security challenges of the country, the Union Home Minister directed the heads of various security agencies, including intelligence and enforcement agencies across the country, to adopt the government's approach towards national security.
While reviewing the overall internal security situation of the country and the fight against terrorism, the Home Minister asked all the participants to enhance their participation in the Multi Agency Centre and make it a cohesive platform that brings together all law enforcement agencies, anti-drug agencies, cyber security and intelligence agencies for decisive and prompt action.
The Home Minister emphasized that the MAC has earned the trust of its constituents and it should continue to function 24X7 as a platform for proactive and real-time actionable information sharing among various stakeholders, including end responders.

This is how terrorists will be eliminated
During the meeting, Amit Shah stressed on creating a team of young, technically skilled and dynamic officers from all the agencies involved in national security to dismantle the terror ecosystem using big data and AI or ML driven analytics and technological advancements.
He reiterated that we must always stay one step ahead in responding to new and emerging security challenges. Shah informed that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the MAC framework is set to implement major technological and operational improvements to enhance its reach and effectiveness. He called upon all stakeholders to take these efforts forward.
