Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the official notification for recruitment to constable posts on its website. Candidates interested in working in the police can apply by visiting the official website jkssb.nic.in. Let us tell you that through this recruitment process, 4,002 posts will be recruited. This is a golden opportunity for the youth to join the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
The registration process to apply for the posts will start from July 30, 2024. The last date to apply is August 29. Admit cards for the examination will be released a week before the examination. The most important qualification to apply for these posts is that the candidate should be a resident of Jammu and Kashmir and should also have a valid residence certificate.
How to apply for JKSSB Constable Recruitment –
1. First of all you have to visit the official website jkssb.nic.in.
2. Now you have to click on Constable Recruitment 2024 link.
3. Now you have to register by filling your required information.
4. Now you have to fill the application form.
5. Now you have to upload the required document.
6. Now you have to pay the application fee and click on submit.
7. Now you can download your application form.
8. Take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
Candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 700 to fill the application form online. The application fee for SC, ST-1, ST-2 and EWS category candidates is Rs 600.
Which documents will have to be uploaded by the candidates-
1. Residence Certificate of Jammu and Kashmir
2. 10th or 12th mark sheet
3. Age Certificate (Aadhar Card, Birth Certificate, Voter ID Card)
4. Category Certificate (if required)
5. Passport size photograph
Selection Process-
Written Exam- In this, candidates will be asked questions on General Knowledge, Reasoning, Mental Ability and Mathematics.
After this there will be physical efficiency test and document verification.
