Saharanpur. Questions have now started being raised on the order of Saharanpur DIG Ajay Sahni to write the name of the proprietor on the shops located on the Kanwar route. Congress MP Imran Masood has targeted the order of DIG Ajay Sahni. Congress MP from Saharanpur Imran Masood called the police order a Tughlaqi decree. He also said that the administration is trying to divide the society.
MP Imran Masood said, “UP Police has issued a Tughlaqi decree which will divide the society. Kanwar Yatra should be respected by all Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs and Christians. They should give a message of unity in the society. Such things promote hatred, this decree is very sad.”
He also said that Muslims are also involved in making Kanwad, it will not have any adverse effect on Kanwadis. The clothes worn by Kanwadis are prepared in Saharanpur Hosiery, which is made by Muslim brothers. These people are talking about dividing Hindus and Muslims. Imran Masood further said that do not talk about Hindus and Muslims. If we have to talk, then we should talk about employment of youth, prices of farmers' crops and losses of traders. These people only divert people's attention by talking about irrelevant things. He claimed that they are losing, so they are fooling the public. Kanwad is an act of faith and it is everyone's duty to respect it. There should be a shower of flowers on it.
Let us tell you that new orders have been issued by the Muzaffarnagar and Saharanpur administration regarding the Kanwar Yatra. In these orders, it was said that it is mandatory to write the name of the proprietor on the shops and dhabas on the Kanwar route. Akhilesh Yadav had also raised questions on this order of the administration. He said, “What will be known from the name of the person whose name is Guddu, Munna, Chhotu or Fateh? The honorable court should take suo motu cognizance and investigate the intention of the government behind the administration and take appropriate punitive action. Such orders are social crimes, which want to spoil the peaceful environment.”
