Both the vehicles are powered by a 1.2-litre engine, but there is still a big difference between the two and that is that the Punch generates more power and torque than the Exter in CNG mode.

Tata Punch generates 72.5bhp of power and 103Nm of torque, while the Xstar generates 68bhp of power and 95.2Nm of torque in CNG mode. This means that the performance of Punch in CNG mode is better than Xstar.

Talking about mileage, Tata Punch iCNG covers a distance of up to 26.99 km (ARAI) in one kg of CNG. Of course Punch is better in performance but in terms of mileage, Hyundai Exter CNG is ahead, this car can run up to 27.1 km (ARAI) in one kg of CNG.

Tata Punch CNG Price vs Hyundai Exter CNG Price

If we look at the price, then the price of Tata Punch is less than Hyundai Exter. The price of CNG variant of Exter ranges from Rs 8.50 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 9,38,200 (ex-showroom). On the other hand, the price of CNG variant of Tata Punch ranges from Rs 7.23 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 9.85 lakh (ex-showroom).
