Mussoorie. Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi today visited various areas of Mussoorie Assembly constituency due to heavy rains and conducted a field inspection. Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi took stock of the treatment work going on at Glogidhar on Mussoorie-Dehradun road and expressed displeasure over the slow pace and directed the officers present on the spot to complete the work quickly. The Cabinet Minister also inspected the broken part of Mall Road.
He also directed the Public Works Department officials to maintain the quality of work done under the beautification of Mall Road. The minister also inspected the damaged portion of Picture Palace Landour Road due to heavy rains. He directed the officials to repair the damaged road soon. Minister Ganesh Joshi also directed SDM Mussoorie and the police administration to work strictly regarding the movement of vehicles on Mall Road.
Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi said that the government is constantly monitoring the disaster area. He said that all departments have been instructed to remain alert. He said that the Mussoorie Dehradun route Glogidhar will be opened for big vehicles within three days. He said that the state government always stands with the affected people during a disaster.
On this occasion, Deputy Inspector General of Police Senthil Abudai, SDM Mussoorie Deepak Saini, EE Public Works Jitendra Tripathi, Mohan Petwal, Kushal Rana, Satish Dondiyal, Sundar Panwar, Poonam Nautiyal along with officials of Water Corporation, Water Institute, Electricity and Forest Department were present.
