Meerut. In village Nihori of Phalwada area, stray cattle hit a villager and injured him, while also causing heavy damage to the standing crops in the fields.

Satpal told that this morning farmer Satpal Saini had gone to work in his fields. Stray cattle were eating crops in his field. Stray cattle hit Satpal and seriously injured him. People working in the neighbourhood admitted the injured to a private hospital for treatment.

Earlier on Friday afternoon, many villagers including Satyaprakash, Kale, Ramesh, Niranjan, Maya Devi, Devendra were injured after being hit by cattle. The cattle are attacking the farmers working in the fields. This has caused anger among the villagers.

Villagers say that for the past several months, a large number of cattle have been damaging the standing crops in their fields. Many times complaints have been made to the concerned authorities and demands have been made to catch the stray cattle.
